Every person is like a whole world. Each and every one of us reveals certain parts and hide other parts we don't want people to see, but sometimes others see more than we want them to. In my figurative paintings, I am interested in the hidden parts, attempting to draw out what’s hidden inside, as I see it, shedding some light onto it. I use colors to display emotions while the eyes tell the entire story. In our lives, nothing is perfectly symmetrical, yet, we are all perfect the way we are. The faces I draw always emphasize the imperfection; something is always broken. A broken heart is a complete one. The lines I use to hint at the character, and the imagination does the rest. From painting to painting, the characters change to fit the mood and situation. I find this as an infinite dance between our inner world and what we see.
